What is an ACH ID?

An ACH ID is a 10-digit number/code that allows banks to identify the entity being paid on a given transaction.

Some banks require ACH IDs to be pre-loaded for anti-fraud measures or various securities that a bank account might have in place.

Sharing approved ACH IDs with the bank can avoid unneeded delays and payment failures. If your customer's bank blocks an ACH payment, we recommend they share the following ACH IDs and entity name to be automatically approved when charged:

  • 1800948598 - Stripe Payments Company

  • 4270465600 - Stripe Payments Company

Note: Stripe Payments Company is the payment processing partner that Ascend's platform utilizes.
